A lot of people already requested some of these careers. This is a huge project of over 30 careers. I remade all careers available inSims 1 and 3 (Sims 2 careers are available for Sims 2 of course). - When a career was double I only created it once. E.g.: Paranormal in Sims 1 & 3 is exactly the same so then I only create it once (this is just an example. I don't know if it's true for Paranormal) - It was hard to find good icons. I hope they're satisfactionary. - For some careers I used the same Icon (E.g. Spa Specialist and receptionist) So there are more careers than icons. - It's possible you see some careers twice (E.g. Entertainment). They have different descriptions, hours, wages,... I started this project at the beginning of 2011. After over 1,5 year it's finally uploaded.

Lientebollemeis asked me to convert some of her Sims 2 careers and I was very happy to do that! So this is one of her careers, Tattoo Artist! It was requested for the Sims 2 by Anaiyia.
You find here a conversion for the Sims 3. So any additional texts, info etc are by me, but the original idea is from Lientebollemeis and Anaiyia.
Here is the full information for the career for Sims 3. The career is located at the Day Spa and the focus is on Painting. It has two custom tones, Practise Tattooing, which builds the hidden Tattooing skill (if you have Ambitions installed) and Design Artwork, which builds the Painting skill. I don't know what will happen if you do not have Ambitions installed and use the Practise Tattooing tone.
Career Levels
Tattoo Artist Career ~ Have a love of tattoos and wish that you could be the artist behind them? Then join today and you could become the next big tattoo artist!
1. Desk Job ~ Right now you're just an understudy, but hopefully soon you will be a fully fledged tattoo artist. For now all you need to do is sit at the front door to greet people. This is just too easy! Wages: §50/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
2. Organiser ~ The desk job doesn't necessarily agree with you but you put forth your best effort and it pays off! You have been promoted to Organizer. For now all you need to do is organize all the different colours for the tattoo artists, just don't get in the way! Wages: §75/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
3. Appointment Setter ~ As the time goes by, the organizing is mundane but you never complain. The boss notices your hard work and decides to let you start taking appointments for the artists. Another desk job..but at least it pays more! Wages: §100/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
4. Doodle Artist ~ As you are sitting at your desk one day the boss walks by and notices some art work you have recently done. At first he is upset that you have done this on your work time, then he notices how good you are. He decides to promote you to doodle artist. Now all you have to do is sit back and doodle! Wages: §125/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
5. Inker ~ Your artwork has really impressed not only the boss, but your fellow workers. The boss decides it's time you start inking! Wages: §150/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
6. Tattoo Understudy ~ Inking was a great idea, now the boss thinks you should work with one of the other artist, and you become an understudy. So the boss partners you with Ava Dee, the most famous female tattoo artist in Westville. Let's hope you can keep up! Wages: §175/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
7. Tattoo Shader ~ With Ava by your side, you have learned so much. Now it's time to put it to the test. Ava decides to have you shade some of her customers who come in looking for touch ups. It pays off, you only keep getting better. Wages: §200/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 10.00pm
8. Tattoo Colouring ~ Ava has talked to the boss about your hard work and creativity. She tells him it's time to let you move on. The boss decides to go ahead and give you a shot at some real tattoo work. Your job now is to do what you were made to do, Tattoo! Wages: §275/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
9. Tattoo Artist ~ The boss has decided to give you your own cubicle to work in. You have really impressed him and he has decided to give you a raise as well. Awesome! Wages: §500/hour Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
10. Tattoo Shop Owner ~ The boss comes into the shop on day and hands you his keys with a smile. He has decided to take his wife to Hawaii and wants to leave his shop to you, wow! You can't believe it but you take the keys and swear to take care of the shop. You are now the proud owner of a Tattoo Shop. Wages: §1,250/hour Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Work hours: 5.00pm ~ 9.00pm
Technical Stuff:
This career was made with patch 1.36 and should work with all lower patches. It requires only the base game to run (Although will require Ambitions for the first custom tone to work) and should work with any combination of expansion and stuff packs. It works in my game but if you have problems, let me know :)
Translating
Since I'm not fluent in any language other than English, the career is only written in the one language. So if you're interested in translating, download the Language Strings file and open it in Notepad.

2 Instrument Cleaner 13-16 $70 M-T-W-Th-F Great... you're in charge of the most wonderful job of all... washing the surgical instruments. (That was sarcastic!) Now, where did you put that scalpel...?
3 Receptionist’s Assistant 13-16 $200 M-T-W-Th-F Now you are in charge of fetching the receptionist's misplaced files, calendars and what not. Sometimes you wish that YOU were the receptionist so you'd actually make everyone else's job a LOT easier! This receptionist isn't even that good... you'd do so much better. But for now, did that girl just swipe that stapler?
4 Surgery Receptionist 13-17 $500 M-T-W-Th-F At least it is a heck of a lot better than having to clean the bloody tools! Now your job is to organize the appointments and make up the surgeon's schedules. It seems as though every female college student wants a nose job!
5 Plastic Surgery Observer 9-12 $750 M-T-W-Th-F You are now allowed to observe the plastic surgery being done. It's really interesting to see that nose being cut open, or those lips being tightened up... Actually, it's odder than it is interesting. Despite the gross factor, you secretly desperately wish that YOU could cut open that ugly patient's nose! DIE, you- erm, you didn't hear anything...
6 Trainee (again) 9-12 $900 M-T-W-Th-F As if you forgot the procedures, you're being trained... again. There's not as much homework as before, which totally pays off, and not only that... it's a symbol of ranking! You're getting closer to becoming a plastic surgeon, and that makes the new receptionist jealous!
7 Plastic Surgeon Assistant 10-15 $1150 M-T-W-Th-F You are very close to becoming a surgeon now! The pay is more than usual and you get to see them cutting up faces and stuffing them with trash up-close! It's just so exciting, your fingers keep reaching for the scalpel... then the head surgeon slaps you and threatens to slice your hand open with it if you touch it. Anyways, it's a fun job so far!
8 Plastic Surgeon 10-15 $2000 M-T-W-Th This is not the top you've reached, but it is a really fun and challenging job! You like seeing the before-and-after results and you feel proud of yourself. You even have your own clumsy assistant! Keep up the good work and you might get lucky!
9 Head Surgeon 10-15 $3000 M-T-Th-F The head surgeon is the best plastic surgeon in the place. You are getting more customers which, in turn, gives you a lot more money! They can trust you but you are now more overwhelmed and stressed; make a mistake and that could give you a bad reputation in a snap!
10 Manager 10-15 $3500 M-T-W As the manager of the place; you make sure the surgeons are doing what they need to and if they screw something up, yep, sorry! You're fired! Anyways, it's fun firing and hiring people. You don't do plastic surgery as much but it's equally as fun.

As you might have noticed not all of my uploaded careers have chance cards. Requesters don't need to provide chance cards by start, but it's a nice addon.
As I'm not at all creative myself to write chance cards about careers I don't know anything about (the requester does), I'm looking for people who are creative and want to write chance cards.
