New Project: Creating Part-time careers

As I said before I want to create 35 different part-time careers per career I have ever made (about 200). So that's 200*35=7000 different part-time careers.
That's a lot of work. So I'm going to make a scheme what to do first and what next.
First I'm going to create templates of files which will help me to chance the days of a career very quickly.
I hope you sims 2 fans won't mind that the descriptions (e.g. "...5 day workweek...") won't match with the new part-time careers.
If I have to change the descriptions too, I won't even start this project.
I'll try to do one career a week, but even that will be hard I think.

But I need your opinion on how to upload this massive amount of new careers.
Please, vote in a comment (possible to do this anonymously):
- MTS (seperate or together per career) (the moderators will probably reject this project as the careers have already been uploaded and there is nothing much changed)
- TSR (no problem for approvel)(not per set as this is a lot of work to upload)
- S2I (my own site in blogpost with labels so it's easy to find)

New Review: Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2

Last week I went to the last movie of the Twilight Saga.
This is what I want to say about it (in short) that really caught my breath. You won't really be able to follow what I'm writing if you haven't seen it.
It's also a huge spoiler!


 

I only saw the first 3 movies. So I didn't see Breaking Dawn Part 1 when I saw the second part.
It wasn't that difficult to follow. I knew they would have a kid together. It's actually the same thing like in the other movies. It always ends in a fight. But this time it was crazy tensive.
I really thought when Alice showed the future to the Volturi that the fight was real. I was really suprised to see that Carisle died. All I could think of was, kill that bastard!
But then still Carisle would be dead and so many others in the meantime too.
Unbelievable what a tension there was during the fight and what a relief when it appeared it was just a vision.
I guess Stephanie Meyer learned something from Harry Potter: Don't let a main character (or someone close to them) die!

New update: Part-Time careers

A little while ago I asked in a poll which days Mother/Father should go to work/one parent at home/both parents at home.
Even after so many entries in the poll it wasn't clear which days should be used so everyone could be happy.
I then found this calculator: http://www.mathsisfun.com/combinatorics/combinations-permutations-calculator.html
and it gave me the possibility to know which combinations are possible without having one combination twice.
So instead of calling the Part-Time careers "Mother Part-Time" and "Father Part-Time" (because you can have gaycouples with children too) I decided to call the Part-Time Careers "P-T1 MTuW", "P-T2 MTuTh",...
There are in total 35 combinations possible and if I name them like that you can quickly see in gamethe days the sim has to work.
Of course you need to know by forehand which days the mother will work and which days the father. So you quickly know which numbers of P-T you will need to use.

Lientebollemeis asked me to convert some of her Sims 2 careers and I was very happy to do that! So this is one of her careers, Rock Star!
It was requested for Sims 2 by draamaqueen.
You find here a conversion for the Sims 3. So any additional texts, info etc are by me, but the original idea is from Lientebollemeis and draamaqueen.

Here is the full information for the career for Sims 3. The career has 10 levels and is located at the Theatre. It has one custom tone, Practise Music, which builds the Guitar, Bass, Drums and Piano skills. Only the base game is required, although Late Night is needed for the Bass, Drums and Piano skills to gain.

Technical Stuff:

This career was made with patch 1.42 and should work with all lower patches. It requires the Base Game and should work with any other combination of expansion and stuff packs. It works in my game but if you have problems, let me know :)

Translating

Since I'm not fluent in any language other than English, the career is only written in the one language. So if you're interested in translating, download the Language Strings file and open it in Notepad.

New with Music: Elvis Inducted into Memphis Music Hall of Fame

	Elvis Presley, among other Memphis music greats, were inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame Thursday evening during a musical tribute held at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Memphis. According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Priscilla Presley accepted on behalf of Elvis and noted that Elvis' musical influences included several of his fellow inductees. New Birthday

Today it was my birthday.

I didn't go to Dog's School (Thurdays and Sundays). I wanted to enjoy my first birthday with a dog of my own. I've wanted a dog for whole my life and now I finally have one.
I got a lot of presents today. The ones that made me the happiest where giftcards in a petshop and a chewrope for my little puppy Phoebe. I love it to see her play.
